02 / PLACE

RIGHT WHERE YOUR PEOPLE ARE

Let the conversation belong to the page.

Place it within your content, open it from a launcher or your own button, or give it a full-screen home. Choose the colors and theme that feel right for your site.

WordPress brings the page context. WooCommerce connects reviews and Product Q&A to the right product. Your community’s settings shape what people can see and do.

A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS

Before you make yourself at home.

Ask the WordPress community
Do I need an account to get started?

No. The plugin can create an unlisted community and publish a supported experience without signup. Sign in with an existing account, including by password, or create one when you claim the management dashboard. The secure claim gives you ownership of the community that is already live.

What happens to my existing posts and comments?

Your native WordPress comments stay in place. For Comments and compatible discussion configurations, you can opt into a resumable import: published posts become attributed source posts, and approved comments become threaded replies.

The import preserves original links, public authors, dates, media, taxonomy, and comment nesting. It does not turn that archive into product reviews, Product Q&A, polls, or chat. Deactivating the plugin stops loading the experience; your community and conversations remain intact.

How do member login and guest posting work?

Visitors can sign in with Zeeker ID or your community’s configured SSO provider. Initial setup starts sign-in when it is needed; after claiming the dashboard, you can refine supported options such as SSO-only, automatic, or host-managed sign-in.

Named guest posting is available only when your community and deployment support it. It uses an Embed-only configuration so guest activity stays out of the public Zeeker network. Login and signup remain available alongside the guest option.

Can I keep my community separate from the public network?

Embed only is available where the deployment supports complete isolation. It keeps content and activity out of public Social discovery, relationships, notifications, analytics, and Chat access. This option is offered only on supported deployments.

Can I use a block, shortcode, or my own button?

Yes. Use the zeeker/social-element block or [zeeker_element] shortcode, attach Comments beneath article content, or choose a supported launcher, inline, full-screen, or custom-trigger placement. Chat starts with a desktop launcher and mobile tray recommendation.

After claim, Support from your button opens community questions and search. Feedback from your button opens the current page’s comments and reply composer.

Can I connect an existing embed?

Yes. Paste the full published Widget ID in the plugin instead of creating a new one. Your community’s enabled features and the saved embed settings determine the experience people see.

a place for its people.
